Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information CEO Weekly (ceoweekly.co.uk) collects, why, and the choices you have. It applies to everyone who visits the site.

Information we collect

  • Server and security logs. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical request data such as IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the referring page, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
  • Automated traffic records. We record requests from search engines and AI crawlers (user agent, page, referrer and IP address) to understand how our content is indexed and cited.
  • Enquiries. If you contact us or use the advertising enquiry form, we receive the details you provide (such as name, email address, company and message) and the IP address of the submission. Form emails are delivered through our email provider, Resend.
  • Payments. Advertising purchases are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.

Advertising and cookies

CEO Weekly displays advertising provided by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website and other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. You can learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info. Where required, we ask for your consent before personalised advertising cookies are set.

How we use information

We use this information to operate and secure the site, respond to enquiries, fulfil advertising orders, and understand how our content is found. We do not sell personal information.

Legal basis and retention

Under UK data protection law we rely on our legitimate interests to run and secure the site, on contract to fulfil advertising orders, and on consent for personalised advertising cookies where required. We keep enquiry and order records only as long as needed for those purposes and for our legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or object to its use, by emailing toast@friedeggs.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
